Junkyard Ribs

On the way home from doing a story on fishermen in South Boston, i came upon this BBQ stand in the middle of a junkyard. Here is what i saw...
October 12th, 2007 – The truck pictured here is Big Moe’s BBQ Ribs stand located in an industrial lot in the South End of Boston, MA last Friday. Big Moe’s has been in business for about 30 years, but only in this location for at least two months.

October 12th, 2007 – Geovanni “Tiny Moe” Lambert, 20, watches over the grill which smokes both chicken and ribs in the industrial lot where Big Moe’s BBQ Rib roadside pit is located in South Boston, MA. The owner Leona Lambert says Geovanni will be the third generation to run the business when she retires.

October 12th, 2007 – Tim Bransfield takes a slab of smoked ribs off of the grill at Big Moe’s Rib’s stand in South Boston, MA last Friday. Big Moe’s will go through six to ten cases of ribs, which include ten slabs, on any given day.
