Red Soxtober

At the 2007 Red Sox Rolling Rally thousands from Red Sox Nation gathered from Fenway Park all the way to Government Center, hoping to catch a glimpse of the 2007 World Series champions. While most of the parade ran smoothly, a brawl erupted when it was finshed at the Government Center destination. I saw one person on the ground who looked as if he was knocked unconsious while one individual assualted another with a skateboard. After five minuites the Boston Police finally arrived and broke it up.

October 30th, 2007 – This was the scene at the Kenmore Square T Stop during the Boston Red Sox victory Rolling Rally in Boston, MA last Tuesday. The Boston Duck Boat parade ran from Fenway Park to Government Center.

October 30th, 2007 – Boston Red Sox closing pitcher Jonathan Papelbon plays air guitar with a broom on a flat bed truck while the Boston based Rock band the Dropkick Murphys played for fans throughout the parade route. The broom is a symbol for the World Series “sweep” the Red Sox pulled on the Colorado Rockies last Sunday.

Junkyard Ribs

On the way home from doing a story on fishermen in South Boston, i came upon this BBQ stand in the middle of a junkyard. Here is what i saw...
October 12th, 2007 – The truck pictured here is Big Moe’s BBQ Ribs stand located in an industrial lot in the South End of Boston, MA last Friday. Big Moe’s has been in business for about 30 years, but only in this location for at least two months.
