Head of the Charles2007

Prof. Southwick had assigned the whole class to shoot the annual Head of the Charles Regatta for our class. Here's the testimony...

October 21st, 2007 – Second from left Rob Friedrich, head coach of the U.S. Naval Academy varsity crew team, breaks the team meeting before they row in the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, M.A. last Sunday. Just prior Friedrich urged the team, in a speech, to “keep it clean, going, and aggressive.”


October 21st, 2007 – John Lee, USNA ’09, puts on his socks before he rows with the Naval Academy’s lightweight eight man boat in the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, M.A. last Sunday. With a time of 14:49.2, the eight man division placed fifth overall, and second among all colleges.


October 21st, 2007 –U.S. Naval Academy’s Meredith Meehan, Kerry Hannon, and Fiona McFarland, all rowers on the USNA women’s crew team, cheer on the men’s Naval Academy’s lightweight eight man boat in the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, M.A. last Sunday.
